Threes Free is a puzzle game where you have to move numbered pieces on a 4-by-4 board. The goal is to get the pieces with the highest numbers possible before the game inevitably ends.
The gameplay in Threes Free will be familiar to anyone who's played a similar game such as 2048 or Fives. To play, slide your finger over the screen to make all the pieces move in the same direction, creating a new piece in a free space on the board.
Each piece is numbered with 1, 2, 3, 6, 12, 24, and so on. When you combine 1 and 2, you make 3, and then you can combine it with another piece to create another piece, etc. To win, you need two 48 pieces in order to get a 96.
Threes Free is a completely free version of this brilliant puzzle game, though its main drawback is that it only lets you play a dozen matches. That said, you can increase this limit if you agree to add ads to the game, which is actually worth the trouble.
